Meg Hass

Meg Hass is the principal psychologist and director of Haven Allied Health. Meg is a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA, and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Meg graduated from Monash university with first class honours in 2021 and has since been working across several clinics in the Illawarra. She is interested in the treatment of adults and children, perinatal psychology, and assisting neurodiverse clients.
Meg has a lived experience with infertility, IVF, parenting, and supporting Neurodiverse children. She is passionate about helping individuals and their families to cope with general life stress and associated parenting anxieties. Her aim is to create a place for individuals, children and their families to feel understood and supported by providing clinical treatment that is delivered with empathy and understanding through her shared experience.

Meg has previously been a professional athlete and is passionate about physical fitness and the positive link between exercise and mental health. Meg is also a SIRA approved Psychologist trained to deliver counselling to individuals involved in workers compensation cases.
Meg uses a combination of clinical and wholistic approaches that address both the physical and psychological aspects of mental health. Meg is a mother to 3 young children and is also a stepmother to 2 older children. In her spare time her personal interests include spending time outdoors with her family and at the beach, and sports such as surfing, running and swimming.

Jennifer Shore
Registered Psychologist
Jennifer is a psychologist with a strong passion for early intervention and supporting children and families. She has completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), a Master of Professional Psychology (School Psychology), and a Certificate of Autism Studies at the University of Wollongong. Currently, Jennifer is undertaking a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology (Advanced) at Monash University.
Before becoming a psychologist, Jennifer gained 10 years of experience in childcare and early intervention, working closely with children with diverse needs.

This shaped her approach to therapy, particularly in supporting children who experience the world in unique ways and helping families build strong, understanding relationships and children navigate their social, sensory and emotional experiences.
Jennifer enjoys working with children and families to complete assessments that provide a deeper understanding of their individual strengths, challenges, and ways of learning. Her goal is to help families and educators create environments where children feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive—both at home and in the classroom. Jennifer also has a special interest in helping families navigate mealtimes, especially for children with fussy eating, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), and Rumination Disorder.
In addition to her work with children, Jennifer passionate about supporting parents as they navigate the joys and challenges of raising a child. She is trained in the Circle of Security and the Gottman Institute’s Bringing Baby Home program, which focuses on fostering secure relationships and promoting resilient and peaceful households.
Jennifer takes a flexible, strengths-based approach, drawing from a range of evidence-based frameworks, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Habit Reversal Training (HRT), and Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding. Jennifer beleives in creating a space where children, young people, and parents feel valued, understood, and supported in their individual journeys. Above all, her goal is to provide compassionate, practical, and effective support to help individuals and families feel confident and connected.

Joanne Price
Registered Psychologist
Jo is also passionate about working closely with families and caregivers to provide a holistic approach to therapy to help her clients understand their values and achieve their goals. Jo provides support from a family systems approach and works closely with parents to offer support and education that can be continued in the home setting.
As well as face-to-face therapy, Jo offers comprehensive assessments for both children and adults for the following:
· Autism Spectrum Disorder
· Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
· Specific Learning Disorders
· Cognitive and Functional Assessments (including Intellectual Disability and Giftedness)
Jo currently works Monday to Friday, offering in-clinic, school or home- based sessions and after hours appointments.

Jo is a registered psychologist who works with clients across the lifespan, offering a safe and inclusive space where everyone can feel supported and heard.
Drawing from traditional modalities such as Play- based therapy, Cognitive Behavioural, Acceptance and Commitment, and Solution- Focused therapies, to the more contemporary Digital-Based Therapy using Minecraft ©, Jo offers a client-centered approach, meeting the client where they are. She has a strong ability to build rapport and connect with children by leaning into their interests and making them feel heard.

Laura is a dedicated and compassionate psychologist with extensive experience in child protection, early intervention, and couples and family support. With a deep commitment to fostering resilience in children, parents, and families, Laura specializes in trauma-focused care, particularly in early childhood and adolescence.
Throughout her career, Laura has worked closely with families navigating complex challenges, providing evidence-based interventions that promote healing, stability, and positive relationships. She is passionate about supporting individuals affected by trauma, helping them build coping strategies and regain a sense of safety and well-being.
With a strong foundation in psychological best practices, Laura integrates a compassionate and strengths-based approach to empower families and frontline professionals. Whether working with children in vulnerable situations, guiding parents through difficult transitions, or supporting couples in strengthening their personal and parenting, Laura is committed to delivering tailored, trauma-informed care that fosters long-term resilience.
Laura is a registered psychologist, and Member of the APS. She utilises CBT, ACT, DBT, and Play therapy approaches, as well as completed training using the Gottman Method. Laura has experience navigating psychological supports in the NDIS space, as well as being an advocate for early intervention strategies and support that create lasting positive change in the lives of children and families.

Amber Burden- Hill
Clinical Psychologist / Board Approved Supervisor

Amber is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Board-Approved Supervisor whose work aims to nature growing minds. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Clinical Psychology with Distinction from the University of Wollongong. Amber is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Amber supports children, adolescents, and their families with a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and developmental concerns. She has experience working with Autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, Selective Mutism, learning difficulties, giftedness, and behavioural challenges.
She is passionate about working with neurodivergent clients and aims to create a safe, compassionate space where young people feel understood and empowered. Amber draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and play-based interventions.

Michelle Lloyd
Registered Psychologist
Michelle is a warm and compassionate psychologist who enjoys working with children and their families. Her aim is to create a gentle, welcoming space where children feel safe to express themselves and where parents and caregivers feel supported and understood. She supports children and families from many different backgrounds and has a particular interest in supporting children living in out-of-home care and their caregivers.

Michelle draws on a range of evidence-based approaches and tailors her work to each child’s unique developmental and emotional needs. She has a particular interest in play-based and attachment-informed therapies, recognising the powerful role of the parent–child relationship in supporting children to build confidence, resilience and the skills to manage their emotions. By working within this important relationship, she helps families harness their strengths to support positive and lasting change.
As a mother of two, Michelle understands the joys and challenges of parenting and values working collaboratively with parents and caregivers in a practical and respectful way. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys playing netball, going to the beach and spending time with her family. Michelle is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPI).

Alyson Catto
Registered Psychologist/ Board Approved Supervisor
Alyson is a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA, and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Alyson has been a board approved supervisor for over 15 years, supporting provisional psychologists and early carer psychologists.
With over 30 years of experience, Alyson is a strengths-based psychologist dedicated to a person-centred approach in her practice.

She has extensive expertise in a range of therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, DBT, solution focused, narrative therapy, and play therapy. Her diverse clinical experience spans perinatal mental health, mood and anxiety disorders, grief, trauma, and neurodiversity. Alyson supports the parent as co therapist model, aiming to empower families and strengthen supports where possible.
Alyson is skilled in conducting comprehensive assessments for Specific Learning Disorders, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder in both children and adults. Her commitment to providing holistic and tailored psychological support makes them a valued member of the team, as well as a trusted supervisor for emerging professionals.

Emma Sharland
Registered Psychologist
Emma is a registered psychologist with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She is a compassionate, neuro-affirming, and strengths-based practitioner who honours each person’s unique neurobiology, lived experience, and innate capacity for growth.

Her work is grounded in the belief that many emotional and behavioural responses are adaptive attempts to navigate stress, relationships, and life experiences — not simply symptoms to be “fixed.” Emma supports clients to develop a deeper felt sense of themselves, creating a safe space to gently explore vulnerability, move through pain, and reconnect with authenticity, meaning, and self-compassion.
Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Polyvagal Theory, nervous system regulation, and somatic (mind-body) practices, Emma provides a supportive, collaborative, and compassionate therapeutic environment for self-exploration, healing, and meaningful change. Her work is also informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), supporting individuals to better understand the protective patterns and emotional parts that shape their experiences and relationships.
Emma supports adult clients with a range of presenting concerns including identity exploration, emotional regulation, executive functioning challenges, burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, relationship difficulties, and reconnecting with a stronger sense of self. She has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals to better understand their nervous systems, reduce shame and overwhelm, and build lives that are aligned with their values, needs, and authentic ways of being.
Emma aims to help adults move beyond survival mode and struggle toward greater self-awareness, emotional safety, authenticity, resilience, and a more connected and fulfilling life.

Julie Strange
Provisional Psychologist
Julie is our provisional psychologist currently in her final hours of supervision to gain full registration. She brings a warm, steady, and trauma-informed approach to her work with clients. Prior to training and working as a provisional psychologist, Julie spent many years working in community, youth, disability, and education settings, supporting people through complex life circumstances including out-of-home care, youth homelessness, experiences of trauma, neurodiversity, and mental health challenges.

Julie values therapy that is collaborative, respectful, and responsive to each individual’s circumstances. Her approach is grounded in curiosity, evidence-informed practice, and the belief that people are more than the difficulties they bring into the room.
Julie is particularly interested in supporting clients to build self-understanding, emotional safety, assertiveness, and a stronger sense of agency in their lives and relationships.
Julie brings both professional experience and broad life experience to her practice, offering a calm and thoughtful space for clients to explore what matters to them and move toward meaningful change.
When not at work, Julie is a mum to 3 children and her fur baby Marley. Julie is currently assisting Marley through specialised training to become a qualified animal assisted therapy companion....... stay tuned as Marley progresses through training and gets introduced to our team!

Leanne is a Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapist and Registered Counsellor dedicated to helping people build resilience, improve emotional wellbeing, and create meaningful change. She provides a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, strengthen emotional wellbeing, and reconnect with themselves.
Drawing on a unique blend of evidence-based counselling approaches and the therapeutic benefits of yoga, Leanne offers a holistic pathway to healing, personal growth, and meaningful change. She works from a strengths-based, person-centred framework, recognising that every individual's experiences, goals, and needs are unique. Her approach is tailored to support each client in building on their existing strengths, developing practical coping skills, and fostering lasting wellbeing.
Leanne supports individuals experiencing a range of challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, low self-esteem, life transitions, family and parenting concerns, and the impact of everyday pressures on both mind and body. Depending on each person's needs, she may incorporate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness and meditation practices, and Somatic-based approaches.
Leanne also supports NDIS participants living with psychosocial, intellectual, physical, and neurodevelopmental disabilities. Through counselling, yoga therapy, and tailored wellbeing support, she helps individuals strengthen emotional resilience, enhance self-awareness, develop effective coping strategies, and work towards meaningful personal goals in a way that honours their unique strengths and lived experiences.
